Civil Air Patrol
Civil Air Patrol promotes and supports aerospace education for its members and the general public. CAP educational programs help prepare American youth to meet the challenges of a sophisticated aerospace society and understand its related issues.
Federation of Galaxy Explorers
The Federation of Galaxy Explorers seeks to inspire and educate children in space related science and engineering. Galaxy Explorers was created to prepare children for a future that advances a space faring civilization.
Space Camp uses space to excite and educate children from ages nine to 18 in math, science, and technology. Three to five day camps build teamwork, self-confidence, and communication using state of the art simulations, missions, rocket building, and robotics.
Space Day is on the first Thursday of each May and is a grassroots effort dedicated to the extraordinary achievements, benefits, and opportunities in the exploration and use of space. Space Day design challenges let students become scientists, engineers, and explorers working on the space frontier to design a totally unique solution to some �out-of-this-world� challenges.
Team America Rocketry Contest
The Aerospace Industries Association and the National Association of Rocketry sponsor the Team America Rocketry Challenge, the largest model rocket showcase on the planet. U.S. high school and middle school students compete for a share of a $60,000 prize package.
